Making high quality hay on Oregon’s high desert has become a 4 generation family endeavor. Brothers Jeremy, James and Jess grew up watching and working alongside their grandfather, Hank Warkentin and father Tim “Pops” Warkentin in the early 1980s when the family moved to the desert from the Willamette Valley. Today, each of the Warkentin brothers brings a unique skillset and addition to the cooperative business. Each brother is married and has carried on the tradition of working alongside their families, and watch as the next generation of Warkentins enjoy the land and business opportunities it provides.
